SpiegelWorld Brings Disco Back To Life In New Vegas Attraction DISCOSHOW
Imagine a world where you can hop in a groovy time machine and travel back to a decade when the pants were flared and music was funky.
The 1970s Disco era is back in full effect and it lives on the Las Vegas strip. On Saturday, September 7, live the entertainment and hospitality trailblazer Spiegelworld introduced its newest attraction DISCOSHOW. Serving as the third Las Vegas resident show to Spiegelworld’s lineup, joining the smash-hits Absinthe and Atomic Saloon Show, the new live show acts as a production and a party all in one.
For 70 minutes, the audience is put in the literal center of a disco celebration, wrapped in pulsing action and infectious music, and on their feet. The floors light up, and then the walls before the one and only Eureka O’Hara plays the role of Mother and tells the tale of her Disco nightclub The Glitter Lounge.
Based in 1975 New York City, the Glitter Lounge was the go-to spot for all things disco. Much like the Studio 54 of its time, the fictional nightclub serves as the backdrop to a story that celebrates the music genre that is still very much alive today.
Dancers dance and Ake Blumqvist gives the audience impromptu disco dance lessons for a dance close-out that gets the party started. The performers will ask you to move as they incorporate the stage set into the dance floor you’re standing on because the audience is also a part of the show.
Did I mention that there are no seats? There’s no sitting in the Glitter Lounge as you follow Mother’s rule to dance all night long.

Once outside the Glitter Lounge, the Glitter Loft keeps the party going at magazine stand-inspired bars and plush leather couches that make you feel like you’re in your grandma’s living room. Feeling hungry yet? The brand new DISCOSHOW is accompanied by Spiegelworld’s cozy new restaurant Diner Ross.
The restaurant entrance is tucked away under a neon sign in one corner of the Glitterloft. Spiegelworld describes Diner Ross as the “friendly finer diner,” with Executive Culinary Director Anna Altieri of Superfrico serving the greatest hits of New York American cuisine.
Patrons can enjoy delicious popovers, surf tartare, steelhead trout, and mushroom risotto. For dessert, there’s New York-style cheesecake, blueberry pie, and the most delicious mango sticky rice pudding on the Las Vegas strip.
DISCOSHOW performances are held Wednesday through Sunday at 7:00 PM and 9:30 PM at 3535 Las Vegas Boulevard, Las Vegas.
Dinner reservations are now available at Diner Ross, located inside the DISCOSHOW venue at 3535 Las Vegas Boulevard. The bars and restaurant are open to everyone, even without a ticket to the show.
